A healthy, fitness lifestyle is a goal that we have frequently discussed. It is an individual goal, moreover, it is a collective goal for our families and our communities. The local triathlon yesterday was a good example of furthering that goal.

The 36 North Triathlon is a local race that is national in caliber and presentation. The race organization is nothing short of superb. A large percentage of competitors are from our area of North Carolina. It is a positive influence on our community, and engages a broad range of participants.

Some folks celebrated birthdays, while others celebrated beating cancer. Parents raced with their children, and little kids cheered for Mom and Dad. There were first timers alongside experienced Ironman finishers. They ranged from pre-teen to their seventies.

Positive events encourage positive lifestyles. Parents were good example to their children, and young competitors made us all optimistic about the future. Everyone was supported and encouraged. We brought them all to the finish line safely and each one with a greeting fit for a champion.

We were all proud of our competitors, volunteers, spectators, and workers. Together, we are having a positive influence for healthy community. Many thanks to all for a great event!

For the Lifestyle,
