Most Wonderful

Most Wonderful
The holidays are special. Even people who really don’t understand the reason for the season still join us in spreading thanks and joy. There is a feeling in the air that is contagious and hard not to catch.

Most Wonderful

Christmas at our church was outstanding. The number of people participating in the bands, choirs, hand bells, officiating, preparing, serving, and cleaning up was staggering. We hosted close to 2000 people Christmas Eve. More than half were family, friends, and guests. I hope it never changes.

It is a good time to let all of the wonderful people in our lives know how much they mean to us. Whether you celebrate Christmas, Hannukah, Kwanza or other holiday traditions, we all share a time of thanks and celebration. Perhaps we are even united through we are different.

The holidays are also a time to reach out to others. It is not such a happy time for many and we are remiss if we pretend that all are carefree and comfortable. At church we support Sunnyside and Crisis Control Ministries through special offerings. We can also reach out to those who are lonely, or this past weekend, helping those who may be snowed in.

It is the time of the year for the kids, family and friends. It is also a time for thanks and sharing. Please continue to enjoy yourselves and be safe as we close out the year.
