The Positive Side

The Positive Side

I admire people who seem to always look at the positive side of things. The cup half full always seems better than the cup half empty to me. The positive side makes me feel, and perform, better.

The Positive Side

Children see the positive side. Cindy and I love teaching Sunday school to the two and three year olds. They are positive and optimistic about everything, and sometimes beyond reality. Help children and you will see the positive side, in both them and you.

We were at a neighborhood Christmas party this past weekend. It seems that over the past year there were people with health problems, who were injured, who had business difficulties, and who have family problems. Amazingly, they all seems to see the positive side of their situations.

A positive attitude is a key to success in all aspects of our lives. Winners believe they can win. In Ironman racing a positive attitude makes you faster.

Seeing the positive side in others makes them better too. People tend to respond to expectations and how we treat them. When we are positive, they are positive and perform better. If we all do this we certainly make the world a better place – one by one multiplied millions of times.

The holiday season is a good time to reorient our mind toward an attitude that allows us to see the positive side. Have a safe and Merry Christmas, and may we all experience “The Positive Side!”

On the positive side,

  1. Nicely said. It’s also interesting to note that a positive attitude is a choice. We choose to be positive. While it’s sometimes easier to choose negativity, the strong choose to be positive!
